The Thetford Trails Team is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization incorporated in Vermont. Our mission is to foster individual and community health by encouraging access to Thetford’s outdoor resources via a sustainably managed network of multi-use trails. Currently, our primary
focus is co-management of the Union Village Dam multi-use trail network.
Efforts Include:
- Trail and Infrastructure Maintenance
- Land Acquisition and Conservation
- Outreach and Education
The Thetford Trails Team is currently led by a six-member board of directors comprised of local residents and landowner representatives.
We are in the process of of applying for Federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and hope to have the process complete in 2026. In the interim, the Upper Valley Trails Alliance is acting as our fiscal sponsor.
